As a Baker, You Will:

    Meet daily with Bakery Manager(s) to review priorities and assignments.Complete work orders for the bakery, bakery outlets, special orders, and events.Clean and sanitize work areas after each task.Follow all established sanitation and food safety standards.Prepare products according to standardized recipes to ensure quality and consistency.Work closely and cooperatively with all bakery team members.Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully in both verbal and written formats.Maintain flexibility in scheduling and assist with special events as needed.Adhere to all infectious disease and organizational safety protocols.
Training and Professional Development

Misericordia is committed to helping employees continue to learn and grow.

    Food Service Sanitation Certification/Certified Food Protection Manager training required.Allergen Certification from an ANSI-accredited organization required.Ongoing opportunities to improve baking and food service skills through specialized training.
What We're Looking For

    High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of two years of experience as a baker.Food Service Sanitation Certification/Certified Food Protection Manager training.Allergen Certification from an ANSI-accredited organization.Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to accurately determine portions and measurements from recipes.Ability to prepare baked items in large quantities.Willingness to participate in training and continuous skill development.Ability to operate bakery and food service equipment, including convection and conventional ovens, mixers, slicers, sheeters, bun dividers, and scales.Physical and emotional requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position are outlined in the applicable Physical Requirements Checklist.
Pay

Base Pay

    Baker: $24 per hour
Schedule

    Flexible hours and days based on operational needs.Availability for special events as required.
