In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), supporting C4I activities for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program, we are seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst. Experience supporting USMC programs is preferred.
Responsibilities:
General requirements are as follows:
- The Contractor shall assist Project Leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the development, coordination, maintenance, and reporting on activities related to ACV Total Life Cycle Support Management. Perform all tasks based upon knowledge and experience. Responsible for configuration control of Program and Product Support documentation and a Logistics Integrated Schedule.
Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze Government policies/standards and recommend applicability to the ACV; prepare logistics briefs and executive-level documents/products.
- Maintain up-to-date Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) for ACV Product Manager (PdM); review program documents and Vendor Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items for compliance IAW DoD, DoN, and USMC logistics statutes.
- Support all ACV Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), including documentation preparation, status tracking, configuration control, and ILA schedules; support LMI development and database entry.
- Support validation and verification activities for Technical Publications. This includes the creation of new I-Type documents (Technical Instructions, Modification Instructions, and Supply Instructions) and Technical Manuals, as well as the review and updating of previously submitted I-Type documents received from C4I in support of ACV systems.
- Provide expertise on provision planning, supply support requirements, and initial provisioning for weapons systems.
- Monitor/update data system tools and analyze supply/maintenance data using enterprise databases (e.g., GCSS-MC); perform maintenance planning and management.
- Recommend range and depth of spare/repair parts and support/test equipment; draft annual Provisioning Requirements Statement (PRS) updates; participate in Provisioning Meetings and Initial Provisioning Planning Reviews (IPPRs).
- Prepare disposition and transfer documentation; support fielding, inventory tracking, and disposal of C4I equipment for ACV platforms (including Engineering Change Proposal (ECP)-related installs).
- Maintain property management records and metrics; provide accurate accounting, tracking, oversight, and reporting of C4I equipment; recommend IIP quantities; record meeting minutes.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Core Certification Standards for Logistics at the Intermediate to Advanced Level preferred.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance preferred. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), and United States Marine Corps (USMC) logistics statutes, policies, standards, and acquisition processes.
- Experience supporting USMC programs preferred (especially Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV), or similar ground combat vehicle programs).
- Experience developing, coordinating, maintaining, and reporting on Total Life Cycle Support Management activities, especially Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Logistics Management Information (LMI), and Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs).
- Experience with the creation of new I-Type documents (Technical Instructions, Modification Instructions, and Supply Instructions) and Technical Manuals, as well as the review and updating of existing Technical Publications.
- Experience with provisioning, supply support planning, fielding, and disposal of C4I equipment and support items.
- Proficiency with enterprise supply and logistics databases (e.g., GCSS-MC) and configuration management of program/product support documentation.
- Experience preferred in using various programs and applications such as: Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS), Technical Data Management Catalyst (TDM-Catalyst), Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), and Enterprise Logistics Management Systems (ELMS).
- Experience preparing logistics briefs, executive-level documents, and Integrated Logistics Support schedules.
- Experience with property management, Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) inventory tracking, transfer documentation, and metrics for C4I equipment.
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting Project Leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items, and provisioning meetings/Initial Provisioning Planning Reviews (IPPRs).
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
