In support of Product Manager Engineer Systems, we are seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst with experience in supporting DOW Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols.

Responsibilities:

General requirements are as follows:

  • Will report directly to the Lead Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) for Power Team to support the following tasks (at a minimum):
    • Ensure team level tasks are tracked, executed, and reported;
    • Work closely with program and contractor staff in various competencies including logistics, engineering, development, and integration;
    • Follow-up on tasks assigned to the team level Logistics Management Specialist.

Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist the Program Integrated Product Team {IPT} Life Cycle Logistician (LCL) As a member of the program IPT;
  • Assist in managing the cost, schedule, performance and integration aspects of the product support solution for weapon systems and equipment;
  • Assist in developing support requirements and assess, direct, and identify associated risks;
  • Maintain awareness of and react to correct technological obsolescence that impacts supportability throughout system life cycle;
  • Develop logistics documents (i.e. Fielding Plans, Disposal Plans, SL-3s, I-type publications, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), etc.) in conjunction with the operating forces and external organizations;
  • Perform data and trend analyses to identify, predict, and resolve readiness issues;

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10 to 14 years of progressive experience in program analytics in a defense acquisitions program office or similar organization, with a focus on acquisitions and logistics analysis, development, processes and procedures.

Specific/Preferred Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • This position is not eligible for remote work or 100% telework;
  • Senior- level knowledge of acquisition logistics and associated Integrated Product Support Elements;
  • Provide continuous logistics support on the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE), not limited to providing input on supply chain management, conducting ILAs, course of action, strategy, and oversight of total quality management;
  • Develop, review, and update acquisition documentation, logistics plans, technical manuals/publications, and instructions for programs of record at various ACATs;
  • Have familiarization with and access to the following applicable federal logistics websites and tools to include, but not limited to:
  • PIEE (FedMall, UID Registry, GFP Attachments);
  • Global Combat Support System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC);
  • Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS);
  • Logistics - Data & Analytics Reporting Tool (L-DART II);
  • USMC Appian (Catalyst & Technical Data Management-Publications (TDM-PUBS):
  • Web Federal Logistics Information System (Web-FLIS);
  • DoW (War Data Foundry);
  • Conduct Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) recommendation letters, Maintenance Task Analyses (MTA), Tracking Exchange of equipment, and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) products;
  • Knowledge of Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS); Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FEMCA);
  • Ability to develop, manage, and implement product support plans in the defense acquisition environment at the program level;
  • Develop conference or meeting agendas, minutes, action items tracker;
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent communication skills both in both oral and written;
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced and changing environment.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

This position is performed in a typical indoor office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
