Inventory Control Specialist in Greenville, South Carolina at Covenant Logisitcs

The Inventory Control Specialist track all aspects associated with the daily functional inventory control in the distribution center (moves, cycle counts, helping both inbound and outbound associates, processing damages and all discrepancy reconciliation) while managing customer reports and communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer required reports including Book to Book, Expiry, and Recall reports
• Manage periodic communication with the customer on any inbound issues or opportunities for improvement
• Perform Cycle Counts
• Process Damages
• Report all Inbound Discrepancies to the Operations Manager
• Assist Operators With Any and All Discrepancies and System Issues
• Prepare for and Assist With Annual Physical Inventory

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Know or be able to learn SAP.
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Knowledge of MicroSoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and 365)
• The ability to handle reoccurring problems
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to identify color-coded items.
• Ability to read labels and numbers
• Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment and be able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
• Ability to communicate with associates at all levels within the organization.
• Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work without supervision.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of previous warehouse administrative experience required
• Fork lift experience preferred
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) system experience a plus.
• RF Unit experience a plus.
