Senior Certification Program Manager

This role is a high-impact, builder-focused opportunity responsible for designing and scaling enterprise certification programs that enable thousands of partners and dealer users to succeed on a complex SaaS platform. You will own the end-to-end creation of certification tracks, assessment frameworks, and credentialing systems across multiple product domains. Working in a fast-evolving environment, you will translate product evolution into structured learning and certification experiences that ensure partner readiness and operational excellence. You will operate autonomously across LMS and certification platforms, shaping both program design and underlying processes. This role blends instructional design, assessment strategy, data-driven program management, and cross-functional collaboration. It is ideal for someone who thrives in building scalable systems from the ground up and improving them through continuous iteration.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise certification programs while building scalable systems and processes.

  • Design and manage certification programs end-to-end, including exam development, item banks, scoring models, and credentialing frameworks
  • Configure and administer certification and LMS platforms, ensuring efficient delivery and operational consistency
  • Lead assessment design processes such as cut score setting, SME coordination, and psychometric validation
  • Translate product updates into certification content updates, new exams, and program enhancements
  • Build and maintain certification policies, SOPs, workflows, and operational documentation for scalable execution
  • Own reporting and analytics for certification programs, including pass rates, learner outcomes, and program health dashboards
  • Identify certification gaps through stakeholder feedback and support prioritization of new credential development
  • Deliver training and enablement sessions for internal teams on certification tools, processes, and platforms
Requirements:

This position requires strong expertise in certification program design, assessment development, and learning systems administration in complex enterprise environments.

  • 5+ years of experience designing and managing certification or assessment programs in enterprise or SaaS environments
  • Hands-on experience with LMS and certification platforms (Skilljar, Caveon, Scorpion, or similar)
  • Strong ability to design exam content, question banks, and structured assessments aligned with learning objectives
  • Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders across product, training, and operations teams
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with reporting or data analysis tools
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create structured documentation and SOPs
  • Ability to quickly learn and operate complex systems independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with learning analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Experience in SaaS certification programs or enterprise software ecosystems is strongly preferred
