Position Summary
- The Lab Technician will support charger setup, maintenance of cable qualification station, parts management area, as well as assist with screening and analysis of field-returned units under the direction of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with charger setup, teardown, and configuration in the lab environment
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of lab equipment and test setups
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and work areas in operational condition
- Support screening of field-returned chargers to identify failure symptoms
- Assist with basic failure analysis activities under guidance from system, quality, and reliability engineers
- Document test results, observations, and findings as required
- Follow lab safety, ESD, and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical training in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Basic knowledge of electronic components, test equipment, and lab practices
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work under engineering guidance
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to perform repetitive, labor-intensive tasks
Duration: 10 months
