Companion Caregiver - No Certification Required in River Edge, New Jersey at The Senior Company

The Senior Company is looking for compassionate, dependable Companion Caregivers to provide friendship and everyday support to seniors throughout Bergen County, NJ. No certification or caregiving license is required—just a caring heart and a desire to make a difference.

Whether you enjoy chatting over a cup of coffee, playing games, taking walks, preparing a simple meal, or simply being a friendly face, our clients would love to meet you!

Our companion clients receive care in private homes, assisted living communities, rehabilitation facilities, and hospitals throughout Bergen County.

As a Companion Caregiver, you may:

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Accompany clients on walks or outings
• Play cards, games, or participate in hobbies
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments (when applicable)
• Offer encouragement, emotional support, and a friendly presence

Whether you enjoy relaxing and talking with seniors or staying active by walking and chatting, we'll match you with clients that fit your personality, interests, and availability.

• Part-Time Shifts (5 hours or less): Starting at $20/hour
• Full-Time Shifts (8-, 10-, & 12-hour shifts): $15–$20/hour

• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
