Matheny is a special hospital for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. Matheny has a career opportunity available for a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist for the night shift.

Duties of this position include:

• Performs patient-focused Respiratory Therapy services.
• Participates in Code Blue team drills and evaluations.
• Provides education and staff training.
• Provides oversight for environmental safety and equipment management.
• Complies with all appropriate Joint Commission and CARF standards of care.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary pulmonary clinics.

The hourly rate for this position is $ 40.00 hourly.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current CPR Healthcare Certification required.(BLS and AED)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.(ACLS)
• National Board of Respiratory certification required.
