Responsibilities

Our Innovation Group's Team is at the forefront of innovation, and we are offering our Interns the opportunity to do real-world work and collaborate with our teams as we build State Farm’s future. What You Can Expect:
- Summer Internship Dates: Wednesday, 6/1/2027 - Wednesday, 8/11/2027 (10 weeks)
- Onboarding (Bloomington, IL): 6/1/2027 - 6/4 2027
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
- Pay: $28.00/hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
- Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: Qualified candidates should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid environment.
- Locations: Bloomington, IL, or Los Altos, CA

Qualifications
We Are Looking For The Following:
- Current Sophomores or Juniors majoring in business (e.g., marketing, business administration, entrepreneurship) or communications (e.g., journalism, communications) with a focus in technology.
- GPA 3.2/4.0 preferred qualification
- Strong learning agility and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong sense of curiosity about technology, markets, and innovation as a whole.
- Strong verbal communication skills -- sharing perspectives with the team and managing business relationships
- Strong written communication skills -- creating reports, presentations and other visuals to showcase information
- Familiarity with Corporate Venture Capital (CVC), startups or entrepreneurship is a plus.
Internship Program Eligibility:
- Current Sophomores and Juniors.
- Students who apply MUST be returning to school for at least one semester following the summer internship.
- Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.
