Job Description
Alliance Workforce Management is hiring experienced Welders to support a leading manufacturing operation in Tulsa. This role is responsible for performing high-quality TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components in accordance with customer specifications and production standards.
Position OverviewThe Welder performs precision welding using TIG, MIG, and Flux Core processes across multiple metals. This role requires the ability to interpret blueprints, templates, and technical drawings while maintaining dimensional accuracy and weld quality throughout production.
Responsibilities- Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
- Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on carbon steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, patterns, templates, and verbal instructions.
- Maintain weld dimensions, penetration, and quality according to customer and manufacturing requirements.
- Set up, adjust, and operate manual and automatic welding machines.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, defects, and compliance with specifications.
- Work with fabrication teams to ensure proper fit-up and alignment of materials.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety protocols.
- Document work performed and follow production guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3–5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding processes.
- Ability to weld aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, patterns, and technical specifications.
- Experience operating manual and automatic welding equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality.
- Ability to read and write English and follow verbal instructions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and machinery.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Required use of PPE including welding helmet, gloves, protective clothing, and safety glasses.
- Ability to perform repetitive welding motions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on shop conditions.
- Adequate vision for detailed weld inspection and alignment.
- Ability to maneuver materials, tools, and welding equipment safely.
Full-time day shift position available: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
