Mat Assembler - 1st shift in Calhoun, Georgia at Apache Mills

We are currently seeking Mat Assembler for our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This position is regularly scheduled for Monday - Friday, require Saturdays Manufacturing hours may fluctuate. There are immediate advancement opportunities for those with the desire, the initiative, and that perform above expectations.This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):

Trim, lift, and stack matsWalking and standing in small areasMake sure mats are cut to the spec sheet.Communicate with the LTO driver to bring rolls to the machine.Set the machine to cut size.Cut round corners on the product.Send product through the saw for it to cut sides to form.Stack Mat on the pallet for LTO to move to the next stage.Work well in a team environment.Ability to lift 30-50 pounds plus.Ability to accurately locate materials needed.Work safely in a fast-paced production environmentMaintain regular and predictable attendanceFollow verbal and written instructionsStand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or productsWork cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitorsPerform job duties in variable temperatures based on weather conditions (including hot weather
