Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Grants Management Implementation Specialist to support the implementation of a new Grants Management platform. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in grants lifecycle management, business process improvement, software implementation, and government grant compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of an enterprise Grants Management system.
Analyze and improve grant lifecycle processes and workflows.
Configure and optimize grants management software.
Advise on grant accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and software vendors.
Develop process documentation, training materials, and policies.
Track project progress, risks, and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with the end-to-end grants management lifecycle.
Experience implementing enterprise Grants Management software.
Public sector/government experience (state, local, or federal).
Knowledge of grant accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
Experience with process improvement, change management, and project management.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with WebGrants, Salesforce, or similar grant management platforms.
Knowledge of Virginia Cardinal and state procurement processes.
Experience with federal grant compliance and capital improvement programs.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
