Reports To: Owner/CEO
Position SummarySupports the Owner/CEO directly during a period of rapid, sustained growth (approximately 300% year-over-year) across a five-market Texas operation. Acts as a high-energy, technology-forward force-multiplier who is fluent in AI-driven tools, comfortable navigating the construction industry, and experienced in managing complex operational environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the CEO's calendar end-to-end—proactively scheduling, resolving conflicts, and protecting time for priority work.
Coordinate travel, meetings, and site visits across Houston, San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos, and Dallas/Fort Worth.
Prepare the CEO for each day and meeting with relevant context, documents, and priorities.
Actively use AI tools and automations to streamline scheduling, correspondence, research, and reporting workflows.
Maintain fluency in construction and electrical contracting concepts to represent the CEO credibly with field leadership, vendors, and clients.
Handle sensitive business and personal matters with absolute discretion, drafting and managing correspondence on the CEO's behalf.
Serve as a trusted gatekeeper, filtering and prioritizing incoming requests to protect executive time.
Take ownership of ad hoc special projects spanning HR, recruiting, operations, and business development.
Full command of CEO's calendar & inbox priorities achieved by Day 30
Reliable early-morning coverage established (6:00–7:00 AM start) by Day 30
First AI-driven workflow improvement implemented by Day 60
Proactive executive gatekeeping and request routing established by Day 90
Trusted point of contact status built across all five regional markets by Day 90
Early riser able to reliably begin the workday between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
3+ years supporting a senior executive or owner in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and modern productivity software.
Experience operating within or supporting complex, multi-site operational environments.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
High level of professional discretion with confidential information.
Preferred: Background in construction, electrical contracting, hospitality, or founder-led growth environments.
Preferred: Familiarity with JazzHR or similar platforms, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
