Position Summary
The VAS/SS Coordinator supports the VAS Supervisor in ensuring customer-specific Value Added Services (VAS) and Special Services (SS) jobs are accurately prepared, communicated, and executed on the operations floor. This role requires proficiency with computers, multiple types of label printers, and Blue Cherry Classic and Blue Cherry Infinity systems to manage job instructions, labels, and work packets efficiently.
The VAS/SS Coordinator plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely execution of customer-specific requirements while maintaining organization, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
Job Preparation & Execution Support
• Prepare work packets, job instructions, and materials for VAS and SS floor operations.
• Ensure labels and other materials are printed accurately using multiple types of label printers.
• Support the execution of customer-specific requirements, including polybagging, folding, labeling, RFID, hanger changes, and other VAS activities.
Systems & Data Management
• Use Blue Cherry Classic and Blue Cherry Infinity to create, update, and manage SS job instructions.
• Track job progress and provide updates to the SS Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of SS jobs, labels, and customer requirements.
• Cross-Functional Communication
• Partner with Sales Coordinators, Operations, and Outbound teams to gather customer requirements.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team leads, and floor associates regarding job instructions and requirements.
• Escalate discrepancies, missing information, or potential delays to the SS Manager.
Operational Support & Flexibility
• Assist with staging and organizing materials for SS operations.
• Support additional VAS or Pick & Pack areas as needed to meet operational priorities.
• Follow all SOPs, safety policies, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
• Comfortable using computers and multiple types of label printers.
• Proficiency in Blue Cherry Classic and Blue Cherry Infinity systems required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in Special Services, Value Added Services, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with order processing systems, labeling, or fulfillment operations.
• Knowledge of retail/vendor compliance or customer-specific fulfillment requirements.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items—often 30–50 lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier depending on the role.
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, sometimes for an entire shift.
• Repetitive motions, such as reaching, pulling, pushing, and manual handling of products.
• Operating or working around machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems (with appropriate training).
• Tolerating varying environmental conditions, like hot, cold, or noisy warehouse spaces.
