  • Lead storage upgrades, firmware lifecycle activities, and security patching while minimizing service disruption.
  • Optimize storage costs through deduplication, compression, tiering, and resource utilization improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across storage arrays, networks, operating systems, and application layers.
  • Evaluate emerging storage technologies and recommend improvements based on business and engineering needs.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise storage engineering experience, strong automation skills, and the ability to manage complex storage environments supporting critical workloads.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise storage environments.
  • Deep expertise with NetApp ONTAP and/or Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade platforms.
  • Hands-on production experience managing Ceph storage clusters.

  • Experience with storage performance analysis, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across storage, networking, and host infrastructure layers.
  • Strong understanding of data protection, replication, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize complex tasks, and support evolving infrastructure needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vendor certifications such as NCDA, NCIE, or Pure Storage certifications.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud storage replication strategies.
  • Familiarity with software-defined storage technologies beyond Ceph.
  • Experience managing large-scale object storage environments.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads requiring high-performance storage solutions.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
