Cultivus+ is hiring a high-output Video Editor who can handle both long-form podcast episodes and short-form content creation.

This is not a cinematic editing role. This is a performance-driven content role focused on speed, clarity, and audience retention.

What You’ll Do

• Edit 1 full podcast episode per week (30–60 minutes)
• Produce 10–20 short-form clips (30–60 seconds each)
• Cut dead air and tighten delivery for fast-paced viewing
• Identify high-impact moments and turn them into engaging clips
• Add captions and retention-focused edits for social media
• Maintain fast turnaround times:
• Clips: 24–48 hours
• Full episodes: 48–72 hours

What We’re Looking For

You must be able to do BOTH long-form and short-form editing.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience editing podcasts (30–60 min)
• Strong pacing and storytelling judgment
• Ability to identify high-retention moments
• Experience with captions and vertical formats
• Fast, reliable turnaround times

Do NOT Apply If:

• You only do short-form content
• You focus on cinematic or slow editing styles
• You cannot show podcast editing work
• You struggle with speed or deadlines

Compensation

• Starting at $22hr
