Job Description
What is the purpose of this role?
The Director of Marketing will lead DOOR's marketing organization and drive the strategy that fuels the company's next stage of growth. This is a revenue-accountable leadership role responsible for building marketing programs that generate qualified pipeline, accelerate sales, improve conversion, and create long-term growth assets that reduce customer acquisition costs over time.
DOOR has built a strong foundation, including an established brand, active demand generation programs, a growing product portfolio, external agency support, and an experienced internal marketing team. This role is responsible for building upon that foundation by shaping how DOOR goes to market, strengthening the company's position within the emerging Building Intelligence category, and developing a modern, AI-enabled marketing organization that delivers measurable business results.
What is the role?
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will oversee all aspects of DOOR's marketing function, including product marketing, demand generation, brand strategy, content, website management, communications, sales enablement, lifecycle marketing, and events.
Working closely with executive leadership, this role partners cross-functionally with Revenue, Product, Technology, RevOps, Finance, Legal, and Investor Relations to align marketing strategy with company objectives. The ideal leader is equally comfortable analyzing pipeline performance, developing compelling product positioning, managing agency relationships, coaching and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring marketing content and messaging meet the highest standards before reaching the market. This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader who can balance executive-level planning with hands-on execution while leveraging AI to improve marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
