Role Overview: The Logistics Manager partners closely with the General Contractor’s logistics team to coordinate site-wide movement of personnel, equipment, and materials. This role ensures efficient mobilization, controlled access through site gates, and seamless material flow to support construction activities and maintain project schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the GC logistics team to plan and execute equipment mobilization and demobilization
  • Manage site access and gate operations, including workforce entry, deliveries, and traffic control
  • Oversee material flow and staging areas to ensure timely delivery to work fronts
  • Develop and maintain logistics plans, haul routes, and delivery schedules
  • Interface with subcontractors to align delivery sequencing and site access requirements
  • Monitor and mitigate site congestion, bottlenecks, and safety risks related to logistics activities
  • Coordinate crane picks, rigging activities, and major equipment movements with construction teams
  • Track and communicate logistics constraints, schedule impacts, and recovery plans
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, security, and environmental requirements
  • Support daily coordination meetings and provide updates on logistics status and risks

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of construction logistics experience on large-scale projects (data centers, semiconductor, industrial, or mission-critical preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, material handling, and site operations
  • Experience working with General Contractors and multiple trade partners
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume workforce access and delivery coordination
  • Familiarity with site logistics planning tools, schedules, and tracking systems (e.g., Procore, Excel, scheduling platforms)
  • Knowledge of rigging, crane operations, and heavy equipment movement coordination preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand project environment
