This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Oracle EBS Senior Analyst, IT Enterprise in India.
This role plays a critical part in supporting and enhancing enterprise finance applications built on Oracle E-Business Suite. You will act as a key bridge between finance, accounting, and procurement teams and the IT organization, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into scalable and efficient technical solutions. The position focuses on resolving day-to-day system issues, improving finance application performance, and contributing to ongoing system enhancements. You will also participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities for finance-related systems. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong analytical thinking, technical depth, and stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions. You will work in a structured enterprise environment where reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement are essential.
In this role, you will support Oracle EBS finance systems by ensuring stability, driving enhancements, and aligning technology solutions with business needs:
- Analyze and resolve day-to-day issues raised by business users through ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Gather, assess, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for finance systems.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement teams to define and optimize business processes.
- Design and implement technology solutions aligned with Oracle EBS Finance modules and best practices.
- Participate in system testing, including test planning, execution, and validation for releases and implementations.
- Develop and maintain system documentation such as solution designs, test cases, and technical specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing system performance, stability, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Oracle EBS expertise, financial systems knowledge, and solid technical capabilities, along with strong stakeholder management skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6–9 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Strong functional knowledge of finance modules such as AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Procurement, or Oracle Projects (billing, costing, revenue).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with XML Publisher reports; knowledge of SOA, Web Services, or Oracle workflows is an advantage.
- Good understanding of financial processes and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional environment.
