Job Description
Description:
It is the primary responsibility of the Lead Maintenance Tech to ensure all work scheduled is assigned and completed.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff with assignments, complete and close-out work orders, walk daily route, report and supervise necessary repairs
- Recognize equipment that needs repairs, adjustments, or replacement, maintain equipment and logbooks
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times
- Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods
- Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
Performs other job-related duties as requested
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience
- 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Maintenance Engineer Required
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Hotel or industrial complex property Preferred
Additional Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
- Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to operate a skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, or other heavy equipment
- Knowledgeable of repair and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment
- General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
