Job Description

Description:

It is the primary responsibility of the Lead Maintenance Tech to ensure all work scheduled is assigned and completed.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff with assignments, complete and close-out work orders, walk daily route, report and supervise necessary repairs
  • Recognize equipment that needs repairs, adjustments, or replacement, maintain equipment and logbooks
  • Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times
  • Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods
  • Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience

  • 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Maintenance Engineer Required
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Hotel or industrial complex property Preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to operate a skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, or other heavy equipment
  • Knowledgeable of repair and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment
  • General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
