Warehouse Associate
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position’s primary focus includes daily shipping and receiving duties, cycle counting, picking and processing production orders, logistics, facilities maintenance, and warehouse quality system activities assigned by the Warehouse Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organization of all inventory and other items in the warehouse
- Ensures all company warehouse procedures are followed and amended as needed for quality and accuracy.
- Process incoming shipments utilizing business system software to verify accuracy of the PO, identify proper storage locations, and ensure proper bin placement during the stocking process.
- Responsible for fulfilling special requirements identified by the customer service team and managing customer shipments for timeliness and accuracy.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and perform daily cycle counts; verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate any discrepancies.
- Manage stock location assignments by determining proper storage methods, identification, and stock locations.
- Manage the Ready to Pick process to ensure all sales orders, production orders, and transfers are filled on time as prescribed by order parameters.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Ensure shipments are adequately packaged for delivery to the final customer site, maintaining high standards in packaging.
- Coordinate the scheduling of all LTL shipments as well as ensure daily UPS/FedEx pickups and deliveries are made.
- Pick production order components in advance of Custom Solution assembly schedule.
- Manage branch-specific Open Deliveries to ensure that invoicing is done in a timely manner.
- Perform routine warehouse equipment maintenance.
- Work closely with Warehouse Lead to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

- Ability to operate forklift or willingness to be trained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma and/or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse/shipping & receiving experience preferred.
- Must hold a valid Driver License for their State.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to stand and/ or walk for extended periods of time.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 5-100lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
