Sr. FP&A Systems Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. FP&A Systems Analyst based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Systems, and Data, supporting the transformation of FP&A operations within a fast-scaling, global SaaS environment. You will play a key role in building and optimizing financial planning systems, ensuring seamless integration of financial and operational data across multiple platforms. The position focuses on enhancing automation, improving reporting accuracy, and enabling self-service analytics for business stakeholders. You will work closely with FP&A, Accounting, People, and Data teams to design scalable processes and deliver reliable financial insights. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role where you will directly influence how financial planning is executed across the organization. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving system challenges, improving data flows, and building efficient finance infrastructure at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of financial planning systems, ensuring alignment with Finance planning, forecasting, and reporting needs.
  • Integrate financial and operational data from ERP, HRIS, CRM, billing, and data warehouse systems to ensure accurate and automated data flows.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting models, and planning templates to support real-time financial and operational decision-making.
  • Manage intake, coordination, and execution of system-related requests and cross-functional project workstreams.
  • Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams to standardize data definitions, assumptions, and reporting structures across systems.
  • Ensure data integrity through validation, reconciliation, and monitoring between source systems, financial models, and reporting outputs.
  • Document system workflows, integrations, and processes to support scalability, consistency, and long-term maintainability.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes and improve efficiency through system enhancements and integrations.
  • Support rollout and adoption of financial planning tools and dashboards across business teams, including training and enablement.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance systems, or related roles within a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.
  • Hands-on experience with FP&A platforms such as Abacum, Anaplan, Adaptive, or Pigment.
  • Strong familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct) and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Understanding of financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and reporting.
  • Experience working with BI or visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and ownership mindset with a strong interest in improving financial systems and scalable processes.
