Opportunities in our German-speaking Antitrust & Competition Practice
Drawing on the heritage of E.CA Economics, our Berlin-based Antitrust & Competition team combines deep expertise in competition economics with BRG’s resources, reach and multidisciplinary capabilities. While the practice is centred in Berlin, our teams also work closely with colleagues across Europe, particularly in London, Brussels, and Munich.

We are currently interested in hearing from economists across a range of experience levels and specialisations for roles in our Berlin office. For these opportunities, German language skills are required given the close integration of the team and the nature of their client work.
About the role
Our economists apply economic theory, econometrics, and rigorous, data-driven analysis to address some of today’s most pressing competition issues. We support our clients in engaging with authorities and courts across the full spectrum of competition proceedings.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues at all levels on important, complex, and high-profile projects across a wide range of sectors and industries. You will contribute to the preparation of expert economic reports and other submissions, and have the opportunity to advise clients and their legal teams in both transactional and contentious matters. We also carry out projects directly for competition authorities and regulators.

About you
Education
Postgraduate degree in economics, econometrics, or a related field
Professional skills
A specific interest in industrial organisation and competition policy
Strong knowledge of standard statistical software, preferably Stata
Programming skills are an advantage
Strong drafting and communication skills
Personal attributes
Great interpersonal skills and creative thinking
Honest and approachable personality
Proactive and enthusiastic colleague
Languages
Excellent command of English and German
Other languages are welcome and appreciated
