Job Description
This position travels to job sites as needed to assist with project-related field work, communicate with crews, verify site conditions, support material coordination, and help ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
When not traveling, the position supports warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, staging, loading, and maintaining materials and equipment.
The role requires bilingual communication skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work effectively in both field and warehouse environments.
Over time, the Field Technician / Warehouse Technician assumes increasing responsibility for field support, warehouse coordination, material tracking, crew communication, and project readiness.
Primary Job Duties
· Travel to job sites across the United States as needed to support field operations.
· Assist with project-related field work, site coordination, and communication with crews.
· Verify site conditions, material needs, and project information to support successful field execution.
· Communicate project details, instructions, and updates in English and Spanish as needed.
· Support safe work practices and help ensure crews follow job site safety requirements.
· Assist with receiving, organizing, staging, loading, unloading, and maintaining warehouse materials and equipment.
· Help track inventory, tools, supplies, and project materials to ensure accuracy and availability.
· Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming projects and field assignments.
· Coordinate with project managers, warehouse personnel, field crews, and operations teams.
· Identify missing materials, damaged items, site issues, or project concerns and report them promptly.
· Operate warehouse equipment and handle materials safely according to company procedures.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area.
Requirements:Education and Experience
· Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish required.
· Ability and willingness to travel to job sites across the United States as needed.
· Welding experience is required and AWS welding certifications or equivalent certifications are preferred
· Forklift experience is a plus
· Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
· Experience training or instructing others is preferred.
· Ability to read technical manuals and follow repair procedures.
· Experience with industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
· Experience in construction, warehouse operations, field support, manufacturing, logistics, or related work preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn.
· Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work effectively with crews and operations teams.
· Basic computer or mobile device proficiency for communication, documentation, and project coordination.
