Night Shift Finishing Supervisor in Newark, New Jersey at Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp

Fabuwood is seeking an experienced Night Shift Finishing Supervisor to manage and oversee the Night Shift Finishing Department activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The Supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. An outstanding Supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 5:00pm-3:00am

Responsibilities:

• Supervising department staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinating and maintaining equipment.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments.
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
