Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Operations Manager to manage and optimize web development and email marketing projects. This role will be responsible for the setup, support, and maintenance of client website’s projects across the agency.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning website operations from end to end. The Web Operations Manager will serve as the bridge between strategy, creative, and technical execution, ensuring client websites, landing pages, integrations, and email systems run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that combines operational oversight, technical troubleshooting, QA, and process management.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in digital marketing with a heavy emphasis on WordPress administration.
Proficiency in HTML/CSS and basic PHP, with the ability to perform light front-end development and troubleshooting.
Experience with Newsletter & Email Marketing integration (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid).
Proven track record of managing a Martech stack, ensuring seamless data flow between the website, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) principles, with a focus on providing feedback and direction on website design.
Experience with Customer Journey Mapping, understanding the lifecycle from initial awareness to post-purchase retention.
Understanding of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, site speed optimization, and on-page metadata.
Experience in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a "translator" between technical developers and creative marketing teams.
Previous agency experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day website operations with the Digital Strike WebDev team
Collaborate with internal teams on website projects and launches
Support newsletter and email marketing platform onboarding and integrations
Lead collaborative QA processes for website design and development deliverables
Execute website edits and updates
Support lead tracking efforts with client onboarding and Digital Strike’s MarTech team
Manage overall QA website and landing page processes
Serve as point of contact for website and landing page UX consultation
The salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000.
