Compensation:$25 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
- Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
- Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
- Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical
- Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule
- Demonstrates superior customer service
- Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed
- Loading and unloading building materials and tools
- Being compliant with all health and safety regulations
- Following instructions and completing work orders online
Qualifications:
- Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
- Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent
- Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred
- Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical
- Ability to work independently and with other team members
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
- Desire to provide excellent customer service
- A sense of pride in your work
- Ability to communicate well with people
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Physical requirements include a frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects
- Part of the on-call rotation
- Must have own tools
