Duties
Safely operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload goods with precision.
Conduct order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage materials handling tasks including stacking, storing, and retrieving items in high racks using mechanical knowledge of cranes and forklifts.
Assist with shipping and receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly loading, unloading, and storing inventory while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Support warehouse supervision in inventory control, cycle counts, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Use heavy equipment such as clamp trucks and reach trucks to move large or heavy items safely around the warehouse.
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as construction or materials handling.
Valid certification for operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or other heavy equipment; OSHA safety training preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology.
Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and heavy lifting techniques.
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in load & unload operations.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
