Job Overview:

• The RN will deliver nursing care to patients who are recovering from surgical procedures.
• Perform patient assessments accurately and timely
• Organizes and coordinate patient care based on a comprehensive assessment
• Safely implement the plan of care for patients, either directly or by delegation to healthcare team members
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• Ability to work with other members of the healthcare team to meet patient needs
• Effectively communicates in writing and orally with patients/families and other health team members
• Ability to interact positively and to communicate well with patients, families, coworkers, employees, supervisors and other hospital employees.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
• Supports unit quality/performance improvement
• Meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care

Qualifications:

• Missouri RN license
• BLS Certification Required
• An annual influenza vaccine is required.
