As a Dining Aide, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent dining experiences for our residents. From plating and serving meals with care, to keeping the dining room warm and welcoming, you'll help ensure residents feel valued, respected, and well cared for.

What You'll Do

• Create a welcoming dining space – Set tables and dining areas so they are clean, organized, and inviting.
• Serve with care – Plate and serve meals while following dietary restrictions and residents' preferences.
• Be a friendly resource – Stay informed on daily activities so you can answer questions and assist residents and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness & safety – Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and help keep the kitchen and dining areas safe and sanitary.
• Support teamwork – Assist colleagues in the kitchen and notify nursing staff of any resident needs or concerns.
• Ensure readiness – Stock and prepare your station so the next meal service runs smoothly.

• Ability to read and follow written directions in English.
• Comfort with physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Awareness of safe food handling, sanitation practices, and willingness to learn.

Important Details

• Uniform must always be clean and presentable.
• Work involves regular movement, repetitive tasks, and occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, sharp objects, and bodily fluids.
• Follows all New Horizon Foods/Consolidated Management and client policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Remain on your feet for most of the shift
• Perform repetitive tasks (chopping, scooping, bending, etc.)
• Ability to read and write in English and follow verbal/written instructions

Other Things to Know:

• You may be exposed to sharp kitchen tools, cleaning chemicals, and bodily fluids (PPE and safety training provided).
• You'll be expected to follow our company policies, dress code, and hygiene standards at all times.
• This is a hands-on, fast-paced role—perfect for someone who loves to serve and make an impact.
