Job Description
Position Description: District Manager
Job Advertisement:
The District Manager is the "Superman" or "Superwoman" of the team. They provide unequalled leadership, share the vision of what can and should be, inspire and lift their employees to perform at a higher level, and show their team how to provide the campground guests an unforgettable, positive "customer experience". The manager helps to recruit additional talented employees. They also work with Human Resources and their own Permit Manager to review and interview applicants and make recommendations to hire. They complete inspections and submit reports on-time. The manager is responsible for the actions of their employees so they invest time and effort into training their employees to represent themselves, their manager, their company and the company's partner as a responsible, quality organization.
LOCATIONS:
- Central and Northern California
- Western Oregon
- Southwest Washington along the Lewis River
- Northeastern Utah at the Flaming Gorge
- Southern Utah in red rock country
- Colorado in the Rocky Mountains along the I-70 corridor.

SCHEDULE:
The typical Summer season is April/May to September/October. Higher elevations tend to start in May due to snow.
AL&L maintains a bi-weekly payroll. Compensation is based upon hours assigned and worked. Wage rates are based upon the prevailing minimum wage. Hours may fluctuate according to usage and weather.
Managers work 3 to 8 hours per day, 6 days a week. We assign the hours for each campground based on our knowledge and past experience. Couples can share the hours as you desire, but the hours must reflect the actual hours worked by each couple. We employ single campground managers where the workload warrants only one person. Uniforms are required and are provided. Employees are given one day off per week. This is usually a Tuesday or Wednesday, but other arrangements can be made if approved by the Permit Manager.
