Position Summary
Turbare Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory operations within our FDA-registered 503B sterile compounding outsourcing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product traceability, supporting regulatory compliance requirements, and managing the movement of legend drugs and other pharmaceutical materials throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate will have inventory management experience in a regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment and possess an active Pharmacy Technician License.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory control systems for raw materials, components, packaging supplies, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming inventory.
- Check products and materials in and out of inventory locations while maintaining complete and accurate records.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities to prevent shortages or overstock conditions.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of legend drugs and pharmaceutical materials in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain complete product traceability through accurate lot number, expiration date, and inventory transaction documentation.
- Perform routine inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
- Maintain compliance with FDA, DEA (as applicable), state board of pharmacy, and company quality requirements.
- Assist with quarantine, release, and disposition activities as directed by Quality Assurance.
- Ensure inventory records are maintained in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Pharmacy Operations personnel to support efficient inventory flow.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant inventory storage areas.

Required
- Active Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, or pharmaceutical inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform inventory reconciliations and maintain precise records.
- Basic computer proficiency, including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical product handling and traceability requirements.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment and follow written procedures.
Preferred
- Experience in a 503B outsourcing facility, compounding pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and pharmaceutical supply chain practices.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in warehouse and controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
