Care Professional (Overnight Shifts) – Home Instead, St. George, UT
As a Care Professional with Home Instead in St. George, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the changing needs of aging adults in Southern Utah. This position helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love.
We welcome individuals with all levels of experience and provide paid training along with ongoing professional development. Right now, we are especially looking for Care Professionals with overnight availability.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in the client’s home during overnight hours
• Ensure client safety and comfort throughout the night
• Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and mobility support as needed
• Offer companionship and reassurance during nighttime routines
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal/snack preparation if needed
• Support clients with dementia or memory loss through personalized care plans
• Document tasks and observations according to policy
• Communicate effectively with the scheduling and client care teams
• Represent Home Instead’s mission and values in every interaction
• Required Qualifications
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift, transfer, and perform physical tasks as needed
• Commitment to reliability and consistent attendance, especially overnight
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with older adults or in a caregiving role (formal or informal)
• Familiarity with personal care and dementia-related support
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $16.00–$18.00 per hour
