Dementia Caregiver at Home Instead – Saint George, Utah

Home Instead of St. George is seeking a patient, compassionate Care Professional to support a client living with dementia. This role requires extra understanding, calm communication, and a heart for relationship-based care.
Our client needs more than assistance—they need reassurance, consistency, and a caregiver who can provide comfort and dignity in their home. Dementia experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in the client’s home
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
• Offer calm companionship and meaningful engagement
• Follow personalized dementia care plans
• Support safety and emotional well-being
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation

Qualifications

• 18+ with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Physically able to perform caregiving tasks
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Dementia or personal care experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

• $17.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Paid training and ongoing support
• Flexible part-time scheduling

• 24/7 on-call support
