About This Position

The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. We are looking for a compassionate professional to support the health and well-being of Unaccompanied Minors in our programs. You will provide high-quality care, promote disease prevention, and ensure compliance with state and ORR guidelines—making a meaningful impact on vulnerable youth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The nurse is responsible for guiding and ensuring the quality of clinical services, treatment, and/or interventions provided to Unaccompanied Minor’s (UM) in the programs in collaboration with the Medical Director and contracted physicians. The nurse is devoted to the delivery of medical care in CPLC program setting with the emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with State licensing, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), and all policies and procedures implemented by CPLC Programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with a bachelor's degree or higher health related qualification (e.g. Physical Assistant, Nurse Practitioner) in the state of employment
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the medical field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred).
