About This Position

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Laboratory Courier is responsible for safely transporting materials between designated stops or locations and ensuring the vehicle is in safe and proper working order, along with providing inventory and fulfillment assistance to the department.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
- Must be able to be covered by BCHC auto liability insurance.
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic arithmetic calculations.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience with no record of DUI, DWI or similar alcohol or drug related offenses over the past 2 years. In addition, there will be no record of reckless driving, careless driving, speeding over 15 miles above the speed limit, fleeing or eluding a police officer, chemical test refusal, leaving the scene of an accident, driving after revocation or suspension, or passing a stopped school bus in the last 2 years is required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions.
