CHMC – Mental Health Unit– Nurse Manager– Full Time - Day Shift–-Requisition 9857

Pay Range: $52.09-$69.02

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of nursing care to all psychiatric patients. Nurse Manager works with Nursing Administration and Mental Health Services to ensure quality and effectiveness of patient care. The Nurse Manager works closely with nursing staff to provide education to develop and enhance staff's skills and competency in their clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related field, or currently enrolled in such a program.

• Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse with current NYS licensure.

  • Successful completion of both BLS and ACLS courses.

• Training and Experience:

  • Five years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.

  • One year of nursing leadership experience.

  • Preferred: One year of Child/Adolescent experience.

• VP of Nursing

• Chief Nursing Officer
