Salary Range: $104,000.00 To 164,300.00 Annually

We are pleased to announce the opening for a Certified Reliability Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO who will join our innovative team and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for its excellence in research, design, development, and testing of advanced information processing hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development activities for new and existing hardware products.
  • Design innovative hardware solutions and modify existing products to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for production and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze hardware configurations and processing solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Establish and conduct rigorous testing routines to verify hardware conformance to specifications.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting and scheduling, to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Document all work and test results meticulously to maintain comprehensive records and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronic design, mechanical design, and other engineering disciplines, to achieve project goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of full-time professional experience in reliability engineering, electronic design, mechanical design, or related fields.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Certification as a Reliability Engineer
  • Strong understanding of information processing hardware, including computer chips, circuit boards, and computer systems.
  • Proficient in developing technical specifications and analyzing hardware configurations and processing solutions.
  • Experience in establishing and conducting testing routines for hardware conformance to specifications.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for most positions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with system requirement elicitation, definition, and functional allocation to hardware and software segments and components.
  • Experience developing and conducting integration plans and procedures for software and hardware integration tests.
  • Responsible for integration execution and preparation of test reports.
  • Experience performing integration and formal test analysis and document results for selloff of requirements.
  • Experience supporting the planning, execution, analysis, reporting, system evaluation, and field support for the Test and Evaluation at the system level to include strategic, space, and missile warning missions.
  • Experience with Combatant Command and Service Level operations and acquisition directorates.
  • Experience participating, preparing, and executing comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures.
  • Documenting test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
