LaunchTech is hiring an Active Directory Architect!

NOTE: This is a hybrid contract role and the candidate must be in the United States and able to travel to New York.

The Active Directory Architect is a subject matter resource responsible for architecting and leading large-scale AD migrations and AD consolidation efforts for enterprise clients and work with migration and engineering teams to execute the planning, remediation, and implementation activities to deliver on the consolidation vision.

• Expert knowledge in architecting, designing, implementing and/or managing On-premise Active Directory (AD) and associated Microsoft services (including Azure services)
• Experience in the large-scale consolidation and management of Global Active Directory environments (multi-region, hundreds of sites, tens of thousands of accounts, etc.)
• Strong knowledge and experience with MS PowerShell scripting to automate migration and integration processes
• Experience in integrating and migrating On-Prem system to Azure based services, including migrating MS Exchange to O365
• Working knowledge and experience with Quest Binary Tree Migrator Pro for AD v20.11
• Good working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows landscape
• Experience in working with development teams to develop automation scripts for AD migration, consolidation and management based on PowerShell
• Experience with infrastructure and server implementation; application migration, networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture and Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMware, HyperV)

Additional skills

• Experience in working AD integrated services - Identity management, multi-factor, etc.
• Working knowledge of Quest tools such as GPOAdmin, Enterprise Reporter, Change Auditor, ActiveRoles, etc. would be a plus
• Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Ability to travel to New York state
