About This Position

Position Summary The ARMA Revenue Cycle Manager is primarily responsible for the accuracy of the revenue cycle process for the outpatient physician clinics. This includes collaborating with the central business office and auditing the front desk staff outcomes in the clinics, to ensure accuracy of the registration and billing processes, and supporting the practice managers and leadership to promote financial success. This position promotes revenue and data integrity for accurate information to be utilized in different methods such as key performance indicators and other ad hoc reports to management and staff. This position is an exempt position and benefits eligible after a 60-day waiting period. Position Qualifications Minimum Education
  • Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or Other Equivalent Program
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Other Equivalent Program (preferred)
Experience
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a physician practice or related healthcare setting that may include job specific competencies such as but not limited to the areas of coding, patient accounting, compliance, registration, and quality measurement.
  • At least 3-5 years’ management/supervisory experience required.
Required Registration/License/Certification
  • Certified Coder (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data-Problem Solving/Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge and use of Excel to quickly interpret large amounts of data; including pivot tables, vlookup, and other summary functions.
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively, acts within the chain of command, and utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and the ability to educate personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to document and design workflow processes.
  • Demonstrate skills in Critical Thinking, Diplomacy, and Relationship building
  • Communication Skills both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of compliance and attention to detail.
  • Conduct training sessions for new staff, including onboarding and orientation.
  • Facilitate refresher training programs to ensure ongoing staff development.
  • Organize and lead supervisor meetings to discuss team performance and strategies.
  • Participate in in-person clinic rounding to assess staff engagement and patient care goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance training materials and resources.
Physical Demands
  • Manual dexterity and mobility.
  • Prolonged, extensive or continuous sitting/standing/walking > 7 hours per day.
  • Frequently per hour: bends; squats; kneels; twists; turns; and reaches.
  • Near acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
  • Ability to frequently drive to various practice locations.
Working Conditions
  • Primarily works remotely.
  • Limited exposure to the risk of blood borne diseases when in clinics.
