About This Position
- The Registration Supervisor plays a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing clinic patient registration operations. This position involves the development and enforcement of policies and procedures, monitoring data accuracy in registration and scheduling, ensuring adherence to patient experience protocols, managing the registration in-basket, addressing issues in various registration and billing work queues, and overseeing the training and coordination of departmental work. In this leadership role, you will guide a dedicated team to ensure the smooth and accurate registration of patients. Responsibilities encompass supervising registration staff, streamlining workflows, and prioritizing a commitment to excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise the clinic registration team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure staff proficiency and adherence to protocols.

Patient Registration:
- Oversee the patient registration process, ensuring accurate collection of demographic and insurance information.
- Resolve registration-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance measures for registration processes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing registration staff.
- Keep staff updated on changes in policies, procedures, and technology related to registration.

Workflow Optimization:
- Streamline and optimize registration workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce patient wait times.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve the overall patient experience.

Customer Service:
- Foster a customer-centric approach among registration staff, ensuring patients receive courteous and efficient service.
- Address patient concerns and feedback, striving for continuous improvement.

Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Collaborate with billing, medical records, and other departments to ensure seamless information flow.
- Address cross-functional issues and implement solutions to enhance interdepartmental communication.

Reporting:
- Generate regular reports on registration metrics, performance indicators, and patient satisfaction.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Compensation is commensurate upon education and experience. Hiring compensation ranges from $18.00 - $26.00 / hour. This position is non-exempt.

Minimum Education
- High School Diploma is required at time of hire.
- Associate degree in business, healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Experience
- 2 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare registration processes, insurance verification, and regulatory compliance.

Required Registration/License/Certification
- Relevant certifications in healthcare administration or leadership (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
