Receptionist - Full Time in Office

We are a busy mid-sized dynamic & growing CPA Firm in the San Fernando Valley seeking an Office Manager. Our team looks at success with in our firm as taking good customer service skills, strong accounting knowledge, and adaptable technology skills to service our clients. We pride ourselves in being well organized and efficient while still maintaining a personal touch.
We are seeking a Full-time Long-Term Receptionist. The ideal candidate is bright, outgoing, energetic and positive, waiting to join our close-knit team. As part of our support team, you are the face of company, the first person most customers meet and our teams golden gatekeeper. The ideal candidate has had receptionist experience in a professional office environment and has a surface level understanding of the accounting & finance field.
Description of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Requires strong communication, computer and internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing, pleasant telephone manner, able to think on feet when dealing with callers, customer service oriented 'can do' approach to work.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in receptionist role.
- Able to prioritize client requests, projects and tasks.
- Answering and owning general inquiries over the phone, tablet, and email.
- Assist management team with all tasks and projects.
- Assist and assume responsibility of special projects.
- Arranging various office team events: lunches, picnic and outings.
- Complete other miscellaneous tasks and projects to assist team.
- Excellent communication skills and follow through.
- Filing, faxing, mailing and scanning.
- Flexible and open minded to new ideas, processes and systems.
- Heavy answering of phones, making and confirming appointments daily.
- Knowledge or Skilled in Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
- Maintain all functions of office operations: supplies, snacks, office, break room.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information obtained during the course of employment.
- Must have superior organizational skills, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Oversee all administrative aspects of office functions.
- Pleasant and clear phone etiquette, speak fluent English, bilingual is a plus.
- Prepare and mail all packages.
- Reputable habit and track record for excellent attendance and being punctual in the workplace.
- Strong customer services skills.
- Superb organizational skills = Loves organizing.
