Driver/Custodian at Magdala House – Saint Louis, Missouri

The Driver/Custodian plays a vital role in the daily routine of our clients by providing safe and courteous transportation to and from their Work and Adult Day Programs. In addition, this role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our facilities.

• Safely transport individuals to and from day programs and work sites using agency vehicles.
  
• Maintain a consistent transportation schedule and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
  
• Assist clients on and off the vehicle as needed, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
  
• Perform general custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance of facilities and vehicles.
  
• Report any safety concerns, vehicle issues, or changes in clients’ behavior to supervisory staff.
  
• Comply with all local and state driving regulations and agency policies.
  

• Monday to Friday:
  
  • Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    
  • Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    
• Weekends Off

• Valid Class E driver’s license
  
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening
  
• Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility challenges
  
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
