About This Position

Summary: This position is overseeing all janitorial staff on site under the housekeeping portion of the business. Responsible for proper function of the business for all supervision and housekeeping personnel in our manufacturing body shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for project planning and tracking of all housekeeping related projects to completion within the allotted timeframe, as well as reporting to customer and requestor of project timelines, progress, and completion. Responsible for reporting to Site Manager and Customer on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for reporting out completion to Site Director and Customer Daily.
  • Ensure response times as set by KPI’s are reached and maintained for all Help Desk Calls, and documentation of Help Desk calls are maintained for verification of completion and reporting to customer.
  • Responsible for leading Housekeeping Supervisors and Hourly janitors in problem resolution and continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction. Will actively participate in project planning to enhance overall performance and successful outcome of all projects.
  • Direct activities through Supervisors and janitors to attain production goals consistent with safety, quality, delivery, housekeeping and waste elimination.
  • Ensure all metrics of the BPD process are followed, tracked, and reported from the Level 3 Board down to the Level 5 Board. Ensure all countermeasures are adequate and in place for red items, all goals reflect SMART Targets, and open PPS documents are in place at all levels.
  • Responsible for ensuring all safety incidents are reported within the appropriate timeframe and contain the level of detail required by the CFM Safety Department.
  • Accountable for consistent application of policy and procedures throughout the plant, including both attendance and corrective action to include disciplinary actions as outlined in the CFM Handbook and in accordance with the National Agreement.
  • Attend all planning and coordination meetings with plant engineers across a wide spectrum of project assignments to include but not limited to weekend planning, downtime planning, etc.
  • Handling the discipline of all subordinate salary and hourly employees when required.
  • Establish and monitor standardized work and ensure standardized work is being improved upon for accuracy and detail to reflect relevant information of safety, ergonomics, and materials required.
  • Ensure all SOT’s, Audits, LA’s, are completed as required throughout all levels of subordinates.
  • Ensure all work being performed is “In Scope Work”. Oversee that all work as defined within our scope is being completed and to the required frequency. Ensure all work as self-performed by CFM employees is clearly detailed within our scope of work.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Education and/or Experience . Strong manufacturing and business knowledge is preferred. Previous experience overseeing Housekeeping functions required.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Payroll systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
