Class A or B CDL Operator in WESTFIELD, Indiana at Custom Concrete Company Inc

Custom Concrete is seeking a hard-working, safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Class A or B CDL Operator. This role involves operating specialized equipment such as a Stone Slinger, Crane, or Telebelt to support concrete foundation construction. As both a driver and equipment operator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering and placing materials efficiently and safely—while being home every night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive a Stone Slinger, Crane, or Telebelt to deliver and place materials on job sites.
• Pick up and deliver materials in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment remotely and accurately to place gravel or other materials for foundation construction.
• Use hand tools (shovels, rakes, come-alongs) to assist with material placement and grading.
• Maintain accurate truck logs and delivery records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Climb in and out of excavations (6–10 feet deep) and perform tasks in wet or muddy conditions.
• Operate smartphones and tablets for job tracking and communication.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Experience operating a Stone Slinger, Crane, or Telebelt preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
