About This Position
CPLC Parenting Arizona and CPLC Parenting Nevada provide family support services statewide through prevention, intervention and treatment programs. These services promote strong families by empowering parents to thrive, thereby creating communities where parents have the skills to raise healthy and successful children.
OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Program Manager involve program execution, strategic program management, including planning, coordination, oversight of all services and activities, and managing the collection and reporting of data. The Program Manager directs the overall operation of the contracts assigned to them. Responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of project activities including implementation of training for staff and community partners, conducting meetings, establishing advisory boards, conducting program management, establishing MOUs with outside organizations, leading the development of proves for wrap our services.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise Staff / Manage Time Keeping System (ADP)
- Maintain staff accountability to their assigned job duties and providing quality programming and customer service
- Formal Reflective Supervision for each staff member
- Informal coaching as needed to support staff in meeting program goals and staff's professional growth
- Complete annul evaluations utilizing monthly reflective supervision forms and to help staff develop new goals for the year
- Gather and aggregate information from program staff (Training, Success Stories, # of clients closed per month, Referrals, etc.)
- Ensure accurate monthly and annual reports are submitted in a timely manner to Associate Director
- Maintain year to date data on program progress in meeting deliverables/goals for all contracts assigned
SPECIALIZATIONS
- Minimum of 20 hours per Fiscal Year of continuing education and competency building, including but not limited, to Relias Learning, Conference, Workshops, and/or Outside Training.
- Knowledge and/or experience with infant & child development, parent-child attachment, possible behavioral health dynamics of caregivers, as well as the dynamics of child abuse & neglect.
- Knowledge and/or experience with strength-based and family-centered provision of primary prevention services.
- Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity, ACEs, and Trauma Informed Responsive Care.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with the implementation of service delivery, including but not limited to, intake assessments, treatment planning, and curriculum development/selection.
- Experience with implementing and/or overseeing the implementation of evidence based curriculum/programs such as Parents as Teachers, Health Start, Active Parenting, Nurturing Parent, Positive Discipline, etc.
- Expertise in navigating/accessing community resources for families (such as Basic Goods, Emergency Financial Assistance, School Readiness Programs, Behavioral Health Services, DES, DCS, DDD).
- Developing and managing multiple contract budgets.
- Development of sustainability plans that include collaboration development, data collection, and grant writing.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (e.g., nonjudgmental, objective, reflective, empathetic, patient, tactful).

- Possess strong project coordination skills, including but not limited to, managing multiple simultaneous events/groups/participants, event planning and any requirement that meet the needs of the program/funder.
- Bilingual(English and Spanish), preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Education /Background: (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in child development, family studies, psychology, social work or related area of study, including a minimum of 3+ years of experience
- High School Diploma/GED required and 5+ years of related experience; OR
- Minimum of 2 years supervising staff
Other requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have access to safe, reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance.
- Must have a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance card.
- Complete CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire and maintain the certifications throughout employment.
