Accounts Receivable & Payroll Reporting Supervisor in Augusta, Maine at Maine Public Employees Retirement System

Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) seeks an Accounts Receivable & Payroll Reporting Supervisor to join our Employer Reporting team. The Supervisor’s focus is to develop, support, and manage the Account Associates. As the subject matter expert, they will provide in-depth knowledge of the processes and legal requirements that govern the work, serving as the primary technical resource for both staff and management.

The Accounts Receivable & Payroll Reporting Supervisor role requires a balance of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to ensure high-quality results, effective team management, and close collaboration with fellow supervisors and leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications:

• Associates degree in a relevant field with at least five (5) years of experience as the subject matter expert regarding the duties described in this classification statement; - OR - at least ten (10) years of experience as the subject matter expert regarding the duties described in this classification statement; - OR - any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Proficient in Excel at the Intermediate level.
• Prior supervisory or team leader experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff to deliver results.
