Imperial Manufacturing is looking for a BOM Specialist to join our Engineering Department in Corona, CA.

Imperial is a manufacturer of high-quality commercial cooking equipment, such as stoves, ovens, ranges, griddles, and fryers. The BOM Specialist is a newly created position which will be responsible for creating Bill of Materials for each of our products within our ERP system.

Each BOM will include a comprehensive list detailing all materials, components and subassemblies required for manufacturing.

The BOM specialist will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and verifying the accuracy and consistency of the BOM data. Identifying and resolving any errors or discrepancies within the BOM data and ensuring that each BOM accurately reflects the current state of each product.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must:

Have a bachelor’s or associate degree in any related field, and/or 2+ years working in an office environment supporting manufacturing functions, including experience in creating BOM’s in a manufacturing environment and experience working with a manufacturing ERP system.

Have a good understanding of product design, development, manufacturing, and specifications, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.

Be familiar with the tools and software used to create and manage BOMs, such as CAD, PLM, ERP, or Excel.

Have excellent communication skills.

Be a self-motivated and a self-starter.

Work well with others, and by yourself.

Be organized.

Be detail oriented and tech-savvy.

Rate of pay: $32.00/hour
