Position Overview:

As the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company’s HR strategy. Reporting directly to the President, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to make a significant impact on our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals and values.
• Talent Acquisition: Lead efforts to attract, recruit, and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
• Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives that promote employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Benefits Administration: Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, to support employee well-being.
• Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs that foster professional growth and leadership development.
• HR Policies & Procedures: Create, update, and enforce HR policies to support a fair and consistent work environment.
• Performance Management: Guide managers in conducting performance evaluations and addressing employee relations issues.
• HR Metrics: Use data-driven insights to evaluate and improve HR processes and outcomes.
• 401k: Coordinate administration of Plan working with Fiduciary and Auditors ensuring compliance.
• Payroll: Oversee and approve bi-weekly payroll

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3-4 years in a leadership role. Experience with ADP Workforce now preferred. 4-5 years of payroll experience required.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of California and TX employment and payroll laws and HR best practices.
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attributes: Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset; passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
