GiaCare Inc., in anticipation of a future government contract award, is currently accepting applications for experienced, civilian Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) to work alongside the federal government in support of the 88th Medical Group at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (Dayton, Ohio).

Qualifications

• Degree/Education: Certificate.
• Certifications: American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED course.
• Experience: 12-months within the 24-months hands-on patient care in an Adult Primary Care outpatient setting.
• Board Certification: N/A.
• Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.

Duties

• Telehealth nursing is an important part of the nursing services performed and shall be performed at the Medical Center.
• Initiate, perform, and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations.
• Complete assigned patient care based on the patient's conditions, use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments.
• Observe, identify, and respond to the patient's needs for care, including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and perform treatments according to established policies/procedures.
